How to request deletion
There are two ways to delete your Feedverse account:
- In-app (recommended): if you can sign in, you may be able to delete your account from within the app (where available). This revokes your sessions and begins the deletion process.
- By email: if you cannot access your account (or need help), email us from the address on your account.
- To: support@feedverse.app
- Subject: Delete my Feedverse account
- Include: your username and any relevant details (for example, if you changed emails).
What happens when you delete your account
We aim to honor deletion requests by removing or de-identifying personal identifiers where feasible, while also preserving the integrity of shared story history.
Depending on how you used the Service, deletion may involve actions such as:
- Account identifiers: your email and username may be replaced with placeholder values and the account marked as deleted.
- Sessions and security data: active sessions may be revoked, and authentication-related records (such as one-time codes and pending email changes) may be removed.
- Push tokens: device push tokens registered for notifications may be removed.
- Scenario participation: your memberships and notification preferences for scenarios may be removed.
- Shared history: scenarios and story content may remain if they are part of collaborative history. In those cases, we de-identify your account so content is no longer tied to your personal identifiers (for example, it may appear from a “Deleted user”).
About scenarios and character profiles
Feedverse is designed for collaborative roleplay. When you delete your account, some content may remain so that other participants’ story history is not broken.
- Scenarios you owned may remain, but ownership may be removed (for example, set to no owner).
- Character profiles you owned may be unlinked from your account. Depending on how a profile is used, it may remain available within scenarios or become available for others to adopt.
Timeline
We aim to process deletion requests within a reasonable time. In some cases, we may need additional time to verify the request (to protect your account) or to comply with legal obligations.
